Crewe look set to be without captain Neil Cox for at least a month after he picked up a hamstring injury.
The defender returned to the Alex side for their 4-0 defeat at Bradford City in the FA Cup at the weekend following a calf injury but was soon injured again,
Crewe already have injury problems and Manager Dario Gradi has described it as the worst injury crisis he has seen in his time at Crewe......
"It would be nice to have him (Cox) available but he hasn't played too many games so far and we're going to have to cope without him."
"It [the injury crisis] is probably as bad as we've had. I don't remember a worse one. I've got more players in the squad than I've had before and we're still running out."
